TEAM STRUCTURE
314 Soccer Club provides a platform for players to compete, grow, and represent St. Louis at both the regional and national level. This page focuses on the current player pool competing in the 2026 MWPL season.

GOALKEEPERS

This goalkeeper from St. Louis, Missouri, wears the number 22 jersey. He brings experience from his time with St. Louis Scott Gallagher and is a 2022 graduate of Saint Louis University. He is currently preparing to start medical school at A.T. Still University in the fall. His short-term goals are to stay healthy and injury-free this season while developing good habits for medical school. His long-term ambitions include becoming a pediatrician and staying active in his community. Off the field, his interests include kickboxing, reading, running, and scuba diving.

Originally from the DRC Congo, this goalkeeper wears the number 0 jersey. He brings experience from his time with SLSG and attended Grand Canyon University. He is driven by a short-term goal to play at a high level, with long-term ambitions of becoming a better athlete and eventually a coach. Off the field, his interests include hiking, camping, and playing more soccer.
Faustin Bikona

This goalkeeper from St. Charles wears the number 1 jersey. He brings experience from his time playing with St. Louis City SC and at Saint Louis Priory. He is highly focused on his future career, with goals of obtaining several PNC designations and earning an executive management position within the Risk Advisory industry. Off the field, his interests include hunting and fishing, and he shares a birthday with Abraham Lincoln.
DEFENDERS

This midfielder, originally from Gaborone, Botswana, brings experience from his time with Queens happy hearts football club. Currently attending St. Louis Community College, he can be seen wearing the number 11 jersey. His primary goal is to attain his four-year degree from a reputable university. Off the field, he enjoys listening to music, reading, and going on float trips.
Balefi Tswaipe

This right back from Harare, Zimbabwe, wears the number 21 jersey. He developed his skills at Aj’s Academy before attending Missouri Baptist University. His goals are to continuously improve in his position, play every game this season, and one day create his own soccer academy. Off the field, his main interest is music, and he claims to have never been beaten in a game of Monopoly.

This center back from St. Louis, MO, wears the number 16 jersey. He developed his skills playing for Lou Fusz Athletic MLS NEXT and currently attends Southwestern Illinois College. Born in Washington DC, his goal is to transfer to a four-year university and then pursue a professional playing career. His main interest off the field is playing soccer.

Hailing from Vitoria,Brazil, Gustavo has always been loved football. All the way from Brazil to Hariss-Stowe State University in the United States, Gustavo maintains his unwavering passion for the sport.

This outside back from Apple Valley, MN, previously played for Skills fc MN and is currently on a gap year. His main focus is on getting back into peak football shape following an injury. Off the field, he enjoys running and reading, and has a pet cat named Baby.
Hailing from Valencia, Venezuela, this center back wears the number 4 jersey. He brings valuable experience from his time with Carabobo FC, Deportivo Táchira, and CD Acero before joining Harris Stowe State University. He thrives on the daily practice and internal competition necessary to build a winning team. His focus is on becoming an important player, contributing to a competitive season, and successfully balancing elite-level training with his college studies, with an eye on exploring future opportunities in the sport after graduation. Off the field, he enjoys watching soccer and TV shows, reading, and cooking.

A highly versatile player from Collinsville, Illinois, this athlete can comfortably play Forward, Center Back, Right Back, Left Back, Right Mid, or Left Mid. He wears the number 18 jersey. His extensive playing background includes time with Elks, Glen Ed, St. Louis Scott Gallagher, FC Adrenaline, Atlas Azteca, and Club Atletico STL, having attended Collinsville High School and the University of Illinois Springfield. A bilingual speaker (Spanish and English), his mid-term goals include obtaining his Coaching D license, with long-term ambitions to travel. Off the field, he enjoys physical activities and spending time with family and friends.

This right back from Imperial wears the number 19 jersey. His experience includes playing for Scott Gallagher and East Central Community College. He is focused on a long-term goal of having a successful career in marketing or sales. Off the pitch, he enjoys watching sports, hanging out with friends, and appreciates almost every genre of music.

This defender from Campinas, Brazil, brings experience from his time with Guarani FC and FC Cubillas before joining HSSU. He can be seen wearing either the number 3 or 21 jersey. A multilingual player, he impressively speaks five languages.

This versatile defender, capable of playing as a Center Back or Full Back, wears the number 98 jersey. Originally from Burundi and Kenya, he developed his skills playing for Rvsa Fc and Ongata senior school. He is focused on his long-term goals within the sport. Off the field, he enjoys listening to music and hanging out with friends.
Mugisha Bertran

Originally from Brisbane, Australia, this centre back brings a wealth of international experience, having played in the UK, Spain, and Singapore, as well as for Peninsula Power fc in Australia. Now attending Harris-Stowe State University, he wears either the number 6 or 15. His short-term goal is to graduate and become a high school teacher. Mid-term, he aims to return to Australia to sign a contract, with a long-term goal of teaching high school while playing on a semi-pro contract. Off the field, he enjoys 4x4 driving on the beach and traveling.
MIDFIELDERS

Originally from Ghana, Africa, this midfielder wears the number 28 jersey. He honed his skills playing for the Saint Louis FC Academy and STL City. A player dedicated to football, his personal goals include being a husband and father.
Akwasi W. Douglas

Originally from Tanzania, our talented midfielder has showcased his skills with Liverpool STL Academy and STL Fusion in the UPSL.
Lionel Harerimana

This CM (Central Midfielder) or CAM (Center Attacking Midfielder) from Lusaka, Zambia, wears the number 25 jersey. He has played for Scott Gallagher and Lou Fusz, attends Edwardsville High School, and has international experience playing for Zambia. His short-term goal is to have a strong season with 314, with a mid-term goal of committing to play college soccer. His long-term ambition is to graduate as a mechanical engineering major and play in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). Off the field, his interests include basketball, working on cars, and playing video games.

Noah comes from a disciplined background and is a talented midfielder who earned his spot through hard work and dedication. He is also a soccer coach who runs his own youth soccer academy and is known for being an analytical player. He has now been rostered by a team in Spain.

Hailing from Wentzville, this center midfielder wears the number 6 jersey. He brings valuable experience from his time with STL Ambush and 314 Soccer Club, including having played in the Dominican Republic. Currently attending Saint Charles Community College, his primary interests are soccer and music. His ambitions are to play professionally, graduate from college, and learn as much as possible from life.

A dynamic midfielder, River brings extensive experience from Governors State University, McKendree University, Midwest Hooligans, St. Louis Stars, Urbana City FC, and St. Louis Ambush 2, giving him a strong foundation in UPSL and regional play. Known for his calm confidence on the ball, River combines smart playmaking with fearless competitiveness. Whether dribbling past defenders or shutting down opponents with strong tackles, he’s a versatile force who always gives 100% and leads by example.
FORWARDS

A 6'0" right wing originally from Uganda, this player wears the number 17 jersey. He honed his skills with Saint Scott Gallagher and 026 futbol club before joining the squad at Central Methodist University. Focused on his future, his long-term goal is to finish his schooling. Off the field, his interests include traveling, shopping, and reading.

This forward from St. Louis wears the number 12 jersey. His previous experience includes playing for Stl fusion, Ajax, and Parkway North. A player of Dutch heritage, he is dedicated to the sport and focused on seeing how far he can take his soccer career.

Originally from Argentina and now from Florida, Mathias brings passion, creativity, and intensity to our frontline. A former PSL Hurricanes player, his game reflects the flair and drive of a true attacking threat. Explosive in 1v1 situations, Mathias delivers quick dribbles, dangerous crosses, and always keeps his eye on goal. Versatile on both wings, his discipline and energy perfectly match the values of 314 SC.
Mathias Arroyo

Originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, this WINGER/CAM (Center Attacking Midfielder) wears the number 22 jersey. He previously played at Greenville College and is now focused on getting back into peak shape. His future ambitions include exploring coaching and starting his own business. Off the field, he enjoys playing football, cooking, and bowling, and is known for making friends easily.
